Wrap: You can use these wraps to preserve food like cheeses, sandwiches, fresh produce, snacks, cured meats, homemade bread, baked goods, pastries, and much more. Do not use with raw meat or fish, or with warm/hot foods as this may damage the beeswax coating.
Rinse: Use a mild detergent and cool water to wash the wraps and then hang to dry. Store in a cool dry place away from heat sources.
Reuse: These wraps are reusable for up to about a year. If at any point the coating starts to thin or wear away, simply spread the wrap out on parchment paper on a baking sheet, reheat in the oven for three minutes at the lowest temperature (150 - 200) and spread the mixture back out with a brush to extend the life for a few more months. You can compost the wrap when it is used up.
To Use:
Cover the desired item or dish in the wrap. Using the warmth of your hands to activate the beeswax, work the wrap into shape and press into form. There will be a tacky texture to the wraps and you may notice some slight residue on dishes and/or hands. This is completely normal! The residue easily washes off or rubs into the skin.
